I am not the same person I was three years ago, ten years ago, 30 years ago, last month, last week, or even yesterday. We are encouraged to live our lives to the fullest and be the best version of who God wants us to be. We are always growing and getting better. One of my goals is to be better today than I was yesterday. Some days I am; some days I am not. Let’s be truthful. There are probably more days that I am not better than I was yesterday. But if I understand I’m running a marathon and not a sprint, I can grow and get better.
Friends, keep running your race. Keep getting better. Keep looking for that gold medal. You can do it! Accept that your muscles will ache and know that you are getting stronger. Enjoy your journey.
